The word blog is short for “web log”. It’s basically an online journal of news, thoughts, interesting information, fun ideas, or whatever else you’d like to write about and have posted on your website. And, it’s super easy! If you can write and send an email, you can write and publish a blog post on your website. Each article you write is called a “post”.

Many of our clients have a blog as a section of their website, just like we do. You’ll see our “Blog” in the menu bar above. Other clients prefer that the latest blog posts appear on the homepage of the website. The choice is yours.

Q: How important is it that I have a blog?
A: Google tends to favor sites that do. It shows Google that your an active and living business. And, it’s an excellent way to build a relationship with those who visit your website.

Q: Can’t I just get a free blog from Blogger.com or WordPress.com?
A: Not if you want it to benefit your business and website. They can’t be customized and as search engine aggressive as a custom built blog. Most importantly, a free blog usually has the web address such as https://myblogname.blogger.com. That’s fine if you’re sharing a blog with your grandmother. For a business, you need your blog to be located at www.yourdomainname.com/blog.

Q: I already have a blog, can you transfer my posts to the blog you create for me?
A: Yes.

Q: How often do I need to blog?
A: On a regular basis. For some, this could be daily, for others once a week, for others once a month. The more your blog, the more Google and your website visitors will love you.

Q: How can I find time to blog?
